Sky Elements Drone Shows puts on private and public shows. Kyle Pivnick said drone shows are a great replacement for fireworks, especially with fire bans and environmental concerns. He said the show can still go on even if the weather isn't perfect, as they can fly in medium to light rain.
Sky Elements Drone Shows carefully and deliberately placed up drones on the basketball floor of Chamberlain High School in Tampa for a demonstration.
According to Kyle Pivnick, who is running the show from a computer, all 100 drones were progressively deployed and calibrated so they know where they are in 3D space. “All we’re doing is making sure we’re uniformly spaced since every single drone is set up like a grid,” Pivnick explained. “We usually arrive the day before or the day of the event and set up approximately four hours before performance time. That provides us plenty of time to test, calibrate, ensure everything is working properly, and handle any issues that arise.”

Pivnick claims that his job appears to be far more difficult than it is. He’s the one who hits “Go” on the computer, bringing the 3D animation to life and sending it to each and every drone so they know where they’re going. He stated that he has his finger on the trigger so that if anything feels strange, he can call them back home.
“We fly roughly 30 drone shows every month. “We’ve flown into every city in America,” Pivnick stated. “Our biggest issue is animating a programme since every episode takes around 100, 200 hours of animating.
You move each drone in a precise direction to create these unique shapes and designs. What you’re witnessing may appear to be 10 minutes, yet it took us 100 hours to create. It just feels like CGI, like a video movie in front of your eyes.”
He stated that even if the weather isn’t ideal, the concert can still go on. They can fly in medium to moderate rain as well as gusts of up to 30 miles per hour. Drone shows, according to Pivnick, are a wonderful substitute for pyrotechnics, especially with fire prohibitions and environmental concerns.
